Thomas Jefferson's letter to A. Coray a.k.a. Adamantios Koraes (a greek who published modern version of Greek classics to promote the Greek revolutionary cause) from October 31, 1823 was a response to Koraes's gift of his editions of Aristotele's Ethics and Onesander's Strategicos. The letter can be found in The Writings of Thomas Jefferson, edited by Andrew A Lipscomb and William Elery Bergh, 20 volumes (Washington, D.C.: Thomas Jefferson Memorial Foundation, 1901-04), at pages 480-490 of volume 15.
