You know that before the Revolution women in Iraq were in a social and economic situation almost similar to that of women in Third World countries generally. But the position of women has changed considerably, not in terms of gradual and relative progress but rather the change has been substantial. Throughout its long history, the Arab Ba'th Socialist Party has endeavoured to enlighten women as to the significance of their integration with men in all human, political and social aspects. (it) |
